TERENCE

"I haven't seen any new artwork in years. Even if it's hundreds of years old, it'll still be new to me."

Description

Name: Terence Prince

Gender: Male

Date of Birth:

Terence is a secondary character in the Fairy Eater series.

Appearance

Terence is a young man with messy locks of butter-colored hair. He often wears a loose-fitting white poet shirt (sometimes with a white choker tied at the back of his neck), with black trousers and bare feet. He has a fair complexion with purple eyes.

History

Terence spent his early childhood living with his mother and older brother, Julien.

Personality

Terence is a kind but deeply-depressed person. Because he has been forced to live within Prince Academy for most of his life, he is always wistfully yearning for all of the other lives he would want to live and things he would like to experience in the outside world. However, his deep fears and his clinging to the past keeps him from trying to achieve his dreams. He has a dream-like demeanor, which is partially due to his chronic insomnia and partially due to his own imagination which allows him to escape his constricting environment. Though he initially comes off as being mysterious and confident, he is actually very jovial and honest about his feelings when you get to know him. He does not tolerate bullying of any kind and takes a strong stance against people being treated with cruelty; especially when it comes to someone he feels personally attached to. If he thinks someone he loves is in need of his assistance, he will stop at nothing to save them, even if it means facing his fears.

Trivia

- Terence is incredibly skilled on many instruments, such as the violin, harp, piano, bugle horn, and others.

- His appearance was inspired by male ballet dancers, as are his various outfits. This is why his movements are often described as "dance-like" and "gradeful."

- He has a deep love for gothic romance novels.

- Terence used to want to be a trapeze artist in a circus, and he would practice by swinging from the spired rooftops and balconies of the buildings on the estate.
