About Fairy Eater

 Fairy Eater is a dark fantasy book series and multimedia project created by author, illustrator, singer, and songwriter Sarah Padovani. The story follows a girl named Taryn Knight who is haunted by a mysterious hunger that she yearns to satisfy. There are currently seven books planned for the series, as well as an animated "pilot" that will bring to life the prologue and the first chapters of the first book in the series, Fairy Eater and the Witch in the Woods.

About Fairy Eater and the Witch in the Woods

 Taryn Knight is hungry, and she has been hungry for as long as she can remember.
 Alone in the world and without a place to call her own, a surprising invitation to attend a mysterious institution - Prince Academy - arrives. She soon finds herself caught up in a strange world full of uncanny elites, mechanical people, and an eternal springtime.
 But there is trouble afoot within the cold walls of Prince Academy, and Taryn's hunger has yet to subside. When a terrible twist of fate sends her fleeing into the forest beyond the school grounds, she discovers that she is not the only person whose hunger is being weaponized against her.
 Will Taryn be able to finally satiate her hunger and save the people she has grown to care about before her starvation consumes her?

Author's Note

 When I started working on Fairy Eater several years ago, I always felt like it was one of my more simple projects. It was a story that I always fell back on when all the other ones seemed like too much work in the moment, because I believed Fairy Eater was the kind of story that wrote itself for the most part.
 And, in a way, I feel as though it did.
 Every plot point that I've come up with for this story feels strangely perfect for the narrative, and it always makes me feel happy when I learn something new about Taryn's world as I continue to indulge myself in this series. From the obscure fairies she encounters, to the couture fashion she wears, to the chaotic world within which these characters dwell, it's a magical experience that I look forward to sharing with all of you.
 Fairy Eater and the Witch in the Woods being my debut novel is a nice start, I think. If you're the kind of person who is hungry for something, but you don't know what exactly that something is, then this book is definitely for you.
 It is my hope that you'll find some understanding within these pages, and that you'll embarking on your own journey in this chaotic fairyland I've cooked up.
